I hope you are all having a Thrilling Thursday! We in 408 certainly are with our field trip this morning and Boosterthon this afternoon! Today's Choice Challenge is to CHOOSE LEADERSHIP as modeled by our Highway Hero, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He represented leadership well by being bold, setting a good example for others and using his words to encourage others. Students are challenged today to say something encouraging to (1) a fellow student, (2) their teacher, and (3) their parents. Tonight they are also challenged to call friends/family who live in other states/countries, and the grade with the most represented will earn a special dance party with the Boosterthon Team! After the second night of pledging, here are our stats:
In addition, I have some more exciting news: Gates' Goofy Goobers won second place for highest percentage of students logged on to www.funrun.com last night AGAIN! Miss Combs' class may have beat us AGAIN, but they don't know who they're up against! THIRD TIME'S A CHARM! Remember, any amount donated or pledged per lap is celebrated and rewarded! YOU ROCK GOOFY GOOBERS!
