iPads, and iron, and steel, oh my!
9/4/2012
We started off Tuesday with a bang! Ms. Zoller came in first thing and taught the students how to use the iPads. Normally technology with Ms. Zoller is every other Monday, but due to Labor Day being this Monday, and the first day being last Monday, she came in to teach the kids today. Ask your student what they learned about the iPad today.
In science we began learning about magnets, We tested a ton of objects to see if they stuck to a magnet and we discovered that magnets are made of iron or steel. We found lots of examples of iron or steel around the classroom! Check out these cool science links. You can practice vocabulary here and you can search for magnets in the kitchen here. I want to see who is checking out my site, if you read this, leave me a secret note on my desk with your name and telling me what you like best about the site so far. : )
