Just a reminder that tomorrow students in my homeroom, Mrs. Kazanjian's homeroom, and Ms. Julio's homeroom will take a common exam called the Measure of Student Learning. The test will measure student growth in science. Let me know if you have any last minute questions!
Better late than never! Here are the amazing adapted animals created by Gates' Goobers. Carter's creative creature was nominated student choice by her peers. Elijah's creature was nominated teacher's choice.
All three classes were given the same challenge. Invent your own animal...any animal. Then tell about everything it needs to live and the adaptations that make survival easier.
Each class voted on the student choice winner and the teacher chose the teacher choice winner. I am so proud of the animals invented by these creative students!
The rainbow wolf with his super strong rainbow cloud lungs and the Octopossearfly with its ability to play dead are certainly surviving amongst the fittest!
